Today I visited Garage in Renton to get a broken part( splash shield) of my car replaced.I was thinking of replacement part and how long it will take in case a right spare part not ready for that and of cause, how much I need to pay for everything including a labor! But everything was not that way I thought. Those guys who first greeted me at receptionist desk and mechanic who checked and fixed what my car needs, were professional, friendly and efficient. Very fast and excellent service, they did not charge any penny for this service. Also their safety measures to avoid spread any germs and bacteria eased me in this challenging ,COVID-19 pandemic time! Thank you All for your excellent service and professionalism:)

I had my 2015 Mercedes in for a oil change at Gary’s which is located a few garage doors down from The Garage in Renton. The guys at Gary’s serviced my car and ran an engine light code that came on a day before getting the oil changed. Turns out I had a couple bad ignition coils. After pulling them Gary’s guys said I had oil coming in past the valve cover gasket. Gary’s guys did a great job doing my oil and fluids and referred me to The Garage in Renton a few doors down. Gary’s guys told me that The Garage does good work. I contacted The Garage in Renton and explained my issue. I first talked to Tony Hallenbeck the owner and explained the issue. Tony was very professional in demeanor and told me they could likely repair the car in one to two days. At first I told myself well I have heard that before and been let down. So I figured ok we will see. The Garage was able to schedule me in right away. They even offered the next day. I opted to drop it off 2 days after talking to Tony. I dropped off the car late in the afternoon just before closing and the service manager said let us take a look and we will call you first thing in the morning. Turned out it needed exactly what oil and lube guys at Gary’s thought which was the valve cover gasket and ignition coils. So now I thought ok how long am I out of my car. The service manager told me they could repair it by 1 o’clock the next day. I was surprised thinking wow that is really fast to get parts and repair the car in a one day turn around. These guys don’t mess around. They were amazing with their communication and coordination. I have never been to a repair shop that was able to get a car in, diagnose it and repair it in within 24 hours 😳. They actually had the car done at 11:00, two hours earlier than they promised. They also explained that they used OEM parts which gives you a lot of faith that the work and parts is quality. I waited a week to do a review so I could get a feeling about the way the car is running. I am extremely happy. The car feels like it did when I bought it new right from the lot. I also noticed they fixed a headlamp that I think must have been lose or something. I was getting a message about the headlight driving at night before I took it to the shop. After I got the car back it was gone and the lights are working perfect. Not sure if it was a loose bulb or something simple but they didn’t charge me to fix that. I could not have had a better experience. To be able to say that during all this COVID 19 stuff says a lot about Tony and his people. They also were very COVID conscious during my encounters in and out of the shop. It’s nice to see a really good repair shop again. It’s been a while for me. No one hopes to have to see the repair shop again but when I need to, I will know right where to go. Thanks again guys !
